While the full title has not been revealed, hololive shared that the shortened version is Odeholo, written as おでホロ in Japanese. Fans have been invited to guess the actual title and story using the hashtag #Odeholo, though no other plot details have been given so far. Along with the title, key details such as the story, main cast, episode count, TV network, and premiere date have not been announced yet.
Studio KAI was chosen to animate the series after previously working on official hololive projects, including animated shorts and music videos tied to hololive Alternative. This is separate from holo no graffiti, hololive’s long-running 3D animated shorts that have been airing weekly since 2019, which remains a different, ongoing project.

Alongside the announcement, hololive confirmed that a special stream will be held to share more information. The special is set to air on September 23 on the official Odeholo YouTube channel. The stream will feature hololive talents Momosuzu Nene, Omaru Polka, Yukihana Lamy, and Shishiro Botan as guests, with Shirakami Fubuki and Ookami Mio serving as hosts for the event. Cover has not confirmed whether their appearance in the stream means they will also be part of the anime’s cast.
