Acer has unveiled the 2023 editions of the Nitro series laptops, which sport the RTX 40 series GPUs as well as 13th Gen Intel CPUs.

At CES 2023 this year, they showed off the Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 respectively- being relatively light on the new tech inside of the laptops such as the specific GPU models.

Like other NVIDIA GPUs, it will feature new tech to enhance gaming experience, such as DLSS 3 and Reflex.

Acer Nitro 17

The Nitro 17 in particular sports 32GB of RAM, as well as up to 2TB of storage to keep up with the most extravagant of game releases.

Purchasing either Acer Nitro series laptop will also come with one month of PC Game Pass, letting fans access the catalogue of games on the service spanning new releases and classic titles.

They also feature an HD camera, two microphones, and two speakers with DTS:X® Ultra audio so players can fully immerse themselves in lush soundscapes.

According to Acer, the Nitro 17 also comes with enhanced cooling options, as well as tools to better monitor your gaming machine:

These Nitro devices have dual fans, four fan outlets located at their sides and rear, upper air intake, and are further supported by liquid metal thermal grease to aid cooling over intense gaming periods. They each come installed with NitroSense software and a dedicated NitroSense key, allowing users to monitor their systems’ temperatures, as well as adjust fan speed and power performance settings to keep the hardware running as cool as possible.

Acer Nitro 16

The Acer Nitro 16, meanwhile, sports improved displays, as well as the NVIDIA Advanced Optimus- a software which allows for seamless switching between Integrated Graphics as well as the machine’s GPU.

While neither machine has official prices for Malaysia just yet, both laptops will be available in the US and Europe from May for USD 1199.99 (RM5281)
