GrandSoft Inc. has officially launched Brave Frontier Legion, the latest entry in the Brave Frontier franchise, today for Android and iOS devices in Japan.
Originally set for a May release, the game’s launch was postponed to June, and after a round of pre-registrations, players can now dive into the action-packed RPG starting today.
Return of the Frontier Begins
Brave Frontier Legion is a team-based RPG that brings back familiar elements from the original series while introducing large-scale 10v10 cooperative battles. Players take on the role of a summoner, assembling and leading a legion of unique units—each with their own abilities, personalities, and visual evolution paths.
Combat focuses on cooperative team play, with players able to communicate through chat and stamps mid-battle. Strategic formation and timing are key to dominating your enemies across various battle scenarios.
Despite mixed pre-launch impressions from longtime fans—many of whom expressed concerns over reused art and missing sprites—the title is aiming to bring back longtime fans while introducing a new generation of mobile RPG players to the franchise following the original Brave Frontier’s shutdown in April 2022.
The game is available to download now on Android and iOS in Japan.
