ASUS, in collaboration with the popular streetwear fashion brand, A BATHING APE (BAPE), unveiled the Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition laptop, featuring an exclusive BAPE camo pattern design.

As revealed, the Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition is available for purchase at local authorized resellers starting from 18th August 2023, priced at RM6,499.

The unveiling of the Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition was streamed online through a dedicated launch event, showcasing the limited-edition laptop that aimed to attract fashion enthusiasts and tech lovers.

ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition bundle featured the laptop adorned in the iconic BAPE camouflage pattern design and will be available in two different color sets, green camo, and blue camo.

There are 2 color choices for the limited-edition Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition bundles, a green bundle with a Midnight Black laptop, and a blue bundle with a Cool Silver model.

Both laptops will feature a metallic lid that is decorated with a distinctive BAPE x ASUS photo-light-etched linear camo pattern design, with a reflective logo tag that gives the laptop a premium feel.

Putting on more design touches, the laptop also incorporates BAPE design elements onto the touchpad, the palm rest area, and the bottom of the device, embodying the collaboration between ASUS and BAPE.

Laptop Specifications 

Aside from boasting an aesthetically-pleasing appearance, the Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition is also an Intel Evo-certified laptop that comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor that has a clock speeds of up to 5.4 GHz.

Coupled with 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory for efficiency, the laptop is claimed to be able to handle demanding tasks and offers reliable performance.

The laptop is also built with a 2.8K resolution 120 Hz OLED NanoEdge display that is said to output great vibrant visuals and responsiveness, suitable for content creation, gaming, and watching movies.

Additionally, the laptop comes with a 75 Wh battery that lasts for users to complete their tasks, as well as WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for smoother internet connectivity.

BABY MILO & Other Limited Accessories

In addition to the laptop, the bundle will also decorate the accompanying accessories in the essence of the distinctive BAPE aesthetic, including a BABY MILO figurine, a computer mouse, a carry bag, and a set of stickers.

The exclusive accessory bundle will be patterned in either blue camo or green camo depending on the customer’s choice and a figurine of the iconic mascot of BAPE, BABY MILO holding a Vivobook can be found within the bundle.

The bundle also includes a carry bag co-created by ASUS Design Center and BAPE to add some individuality to the device as it protects the laptop from accidents.

Moreover, the bag has a 180° opening and multiple pockets for conveniently storing peripherals like a mouse, power adapter, and more.

On top of that, the bundle comes with a compact mouse with interchangeable top covers, and each bundle will include a black cover and either a blue or green cover, depending on the chosen package.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition is available for purchase beginning from the 18th of August, 2023, and retails at RM6,499.
