ASUS Malaysia has launched the ProArt PZ14, a detachable tablet aimed at creative professionals, with units now available through the official ASUS e-Store and authorized resellers.
The device runs on an 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor paired with an 80 TOPS NPU and a Qualcomm Adreno GPU. It comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 75Wh battery for extended use. ASUS says the tablet is built for tasks like image editing, video production, and AI-assisted workflows.
One of the standout features is its 14-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen, which covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, hits up to 1,000 nits of HDR brightness, and refreshes at 144Hz with a 0.2ms response time. The display carries Pantone Validation and a Delta E of less than 1 for color accuracy, making it suitable for color-critical work. An anti-reflective coating is also built in, reducing glare by 65%.
The ProArt PZ14 is designed to be portable and tough. It weighs just 0.79kg, measures 9mm thin, and is built from CNC-machined aluminum with a Nano Black finish. It meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards and carries an IP52 rating for basic dust and water resistance. The package includes the ASUS Pen 3.0, which supports 4,096 pressure levels, tilt recognition, and haptic feedback. A detachable Bluetooth keyboard and a magnetic stand cover are also part of the accessories lineup, allowing the device to be used as a tablet, laptop, or in portrait mode.
For connectivity, the ProArt PZ14 has two USB4 Type-C ports running at 40Gbps, an SD Express 7.0 card reader, and WiFi 7. It also features an 8MP front camera with IR support and a 13MP rear camera.
On the software side, the device ships with several ASUS-exclusive AI apps. StoryCube handles media organization by automatically tagging and sorting images, videos, and audio. MuseTree generates visuals from text prompts entirely on-device through the NPU, without needing an internet connection. ProArt Creator Hub rounds things out with system monitoring and personalization tools.
The ProArt PZ14 is available in two configurations. The base model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at RM9,999, while the higher-end version with 32GB RAM and 512GB storage costs RM11,999. Both run the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.
