To commemorate the release of Shin Megami Tensei V, coming out on Switch this Friday, Atlus has released a new AR filter featuring the adorable Jack Frost. The AR filter is available on Facebook and Instagram.

The AR filter allows you to plot Jack Frost on the floor and take various pictures with him. Clicking on the different demon negotiation options under him will get him to say various voice clips, all in Japanese mind you.

Jack Frost is the Shin Megami Tensei series and Atlus’s Mascot. In the games, he’s a mischievous winter fairy from England. His popularity has led to several variations on the character including King Frost, Frost Ace, and Lucifroz.

He even had his own game on the virtual boy of all things, called ‘Jack Bros’, alongside his fellow jacks, Jack O’Lanturn (referred to in later games as Pyro Jack) and Jack The Ripper.

We even managed to get a picture with AR Jack Frost and Nendoroid Pyro Jack. Brothers united!

Shin Megami Tensei V will be released for Nintendo Switch on November 12th. Remember to recruit Jack ho!
