The Brave Room Episode 42 – Horror Games To Check Out And More

It was a dark and spooky Halloween night that the Brave Room thought to check out some of the spookiest games ever!

Except, not quite. Wan and Kit have a noted dislike of most popular horror games- there’s only so many nuns and babies you can throw at a guy before they start accusing you of having some sort of baby complex.

Kit also briefly mentions House of Ashes, or what little of it she got to see, anyways.

That being said, tune in to this episode for some great creepy games- from the atmospheric Bioshock  to incredibly violent Dead Space to the fetish-awakening nature of Resident Evil Village.

Fair warning though, the Bioshock talk goes on quite a bit, and spoils the big twist of the original Bioshock and Infinite, so if you’ve somehow been holding out on playing it for the past almost 2 decades and have somehow avoided any reference to its twist which was huge for its time.

Of course, we couldn’t let a chance to mention Bloodborne and not mention it- while far from a horror game it’s definitely to the scarier end of FromSoft’s games, going full on cosmic horror complete with its own Mother Brain to give you runes.
