The mystic new character, iCO, who has previously appeared in the game before, will now officially debut in Mega Man X DiVE after today’s maintenance. Although she has a similar outward appearance to RiCO, her cold and dark temperament give people a completely different feeling.

iCO does share are some similarities to RiCO in skills though. More secrets about the character will be revealed in the new event, “Pulsing Force of Destruction”!

Mega Man X DiVe will also release a new system called DNA code, which can increase the fighting power of the characters today. In the system, players will not only unlock the “Fixed DNA” of the characters but another five “Recombined DNA” and will also be able to carry on the “Inherited DNA” from another character; in this way, the fighting power will break through the limitation and reach a higher level.

”Pulsing Force of Destruction” Swept Over

In Pulsing Force of Destruction, players need to protect RiCO and help her collect the error data; while also dodging Mobs’ of enemies attacking from all directions. In the final stage, the game also hints at potentially learning the reason for the abnormality involving iCO. Also, don’t miss the new reward “DNA Point” which can help players unlock the “DNA code” on the stage.

iCO’s Savage Skills as a BOSS!

The new character, iCO, who has aroused discussions among players before her debut, will officially join Mega Man X Dive, after today’s maintenance. iCO used to be another consciousness that originally existed in the program of RiCO; she diverted off from RiCO because of that she didn’t want to be deleted after the irregular program being fixed.

Since she is of the same origin as RiCO, their skills are naturally not far apart; however, iCO is more powerful. Her first skill, Data Reconstruction is to summon out the information window and randomly cast skills; the second one is an “Analyzer Wall” which can move freely, besides dealing damage to the targets in the wall, she will also be able to emit energy shots and get a guardian shield after the passive skill activated. iCO not only has a range of attack skills but also can limit the opponent’s movement speed. Once trapped in her fire, you could be dead in an instant.

DNA code Switch on. A Whole New Evolution of Characters!

The new system DNA code is a new way for the characters to get even stronger Every character has three DNA skills of his/her own, the first one is “Fixed DNA”, which will be unlocked after the character reaches the specific level; the second one is “Recombined DNA”, which players can get by random draw; and the third one is “Inherited DNA”, which is to inherit the “Recombined DNA” that is unlocked from another character.

Players would need to get the character chips and “DNA Point” if they would like to unlock the DNA of that character. Players can obtain “DNA Point” through stages or events in-game; and with the character chips, they can unlock the DNA skills they desired.

Mega Man X DiVE on The Nintendo Switch?

While Mega Man X DiVE or Rockman X DiVE as it’s known in Japan is currently only on mobile devices and is on the way to Steam, the latest update seems to hint at a potential port to the Nintendo Switch.

Considering the popularity of Mega man among the Nintendo fanbase, it seems like an understandable audience to introduce the game to. For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
