Lilith Games has just announced that it has appointed Jean-Claude Van Damme as its global ambassador for its strategy title Warpath. The debut by the man himself will coincide with the Air Force update going live, which as you would have guessed, features various new air units.

More than 40 new units will be added in this update, such as the P-51 Mustang and Avro Lancaster. Furthermore, various fighter pilot aces can be recruited as well. Check out the teaser trailer below

As previously reported, Warpath is a new real-time strategy game which has just been announced by Wonder Games for the Android and iOS platform, scheduled for a global release on 10 November 2020. However, depending on where you are from, the game is actually already available for download.

Warpath is set during World War 2 in a parallel universe, where players will command a battalion of land and air units to engage in battles against a hostile faction to free the world from its clutches. You will not have to do this alone, as you will be able to ally with other players from across the globe and partake in skirmishes in a dynamically evolving map.  The true objective of the game is to unite the forces of Camp Liberty, Vanguard Division and Martyr’s Watch to create an army strong enough to vanquish the Raven Faction.

At your disposal is an arsenal of more than 100 historically-accurate instruments of war such as the Tiger II tank and P-40 Warhawk fighter plane. You will also gain access to various infantry units and artillery. There also also special characters known as Officers that will grant you unique advantages to turn the tide of battle in your favour. You have a choice between controlling units directly or use the game’s intelligent routing system that essentially plays itself for you.

Warpath is a free-to-play title with the usual microtransaction shenanigans.
