Ujoy Games have launched their mobile “dungeon RPG” title, Soul Tide, in China today. The game, available on iOS and Android, saw 2 million pre-registrations in China, with a Japanese release to follow sometime in 2022. A Japanese promotional trailer has been released, as well as an official Twitter account established for the latter.

Taking on the role of “summoner”, you summon souls as “dolls” and explore dungeons with them. Conquer the “labyrinth” and uncover the secrets of a witch who had plunged the world into war. Witches and humans have always been at odds, and it would seem like the witches have won, trapping the humans. Nonetheless, the player is able to summon lost souls to explore outside of their dimension. What secrets wait to be discovered?

There is use of Live2D, for more expressive character art. If you’re interested in a variety of cute girls, then do keep an eye out for more news. More information on Soul Tide and its voice actors will be released in due course.
