No More Heroes 3 has shown off some of the bosses you’ll be fighting in the game via a new trailer, ahead of its August 27th release date.

Every No More Heroes game is defined by its line up of bosses, with the first two being about protagonist Travis Touchdwon climbing his way up to be the number one Assassin via a series of deathmatches.

In No More Heroes 3 , the bosses take the form of so-called Galactic Superheroes, each with their own themes and rankings that Travis will have to defeat to get to Fu, the main villain of the game.

Here’s the bosses shown off in the trailer, ranked from no.9 to no.1.

• Midori Midorikawa
• “The Big 4”

Despite being marked by its bossfights, No More Heroes 3 isn’t a boss rush. As the trailer shows the game will contain regular enemy fights as well, similar to previous titles.

It also looks like the game will be taking some bold visual direction choices, particularly with the boss Velvet Chair Girl, who seemingly changes the whole style of the game for her boss fight

No More Heroes 3 is the latest title on the series, coming to the Nintendo Switch after the HD re-release of the original and No More Heroes II: Desperate Struggle.
