Level UP KL has extended the submission deadline for the SEA Game Awards 2021, giving more developers a chance to have their games featured in the awards show.

Now, the SEA Game Awards 2021 will be open for submission until August 13th, 2021, letting more games developed in the SEA region enter one of the award’s many categories.

Here are the possible categories games can be entered in. The categories are the same as last year, which include:

• Grand Jury Award
• Rising Star Award
• Audience Choice Award
• Best Technology
• Best Visual Art
• Best Game Design
• Best Innovation
• Best Storytelling
• Best Audio
• Best Student Game

To sign up, you’ll need to register via the SEA Game Awards website, providing basic things like a short summary of your game, as well as assets like logos and key art. On top of that you can also tell the organizers if you’re entering a debut game, or if your studio is a professional studio vs a student one.

Last year’s SEA Game Awards saw some big winners, such as the 7PM: Short Creepy Tales winning the Grand Jury Awards, as well as student games like UOWM KDU’s Don’t Stop The Party winning both Best Student Game as well as the Audience Choice Award.
