Legendary Pokemon coming to Pokemon GO as Legendary Raid Boss

Remember when we last talked about the new raid battle feature, we guessed that Legendary Pokemon(s) will appear as Raid Bosses? We got it right (it is obvious TBH), and these Legendary Pokemon will soon be available to challenge around the world in Pokemon GO.

You will find Legendary Eggs appearing at Gyms that contains a random Legendary Pokemon. If you and your team successfully defeat a Legendary Raid Boss, all of you will stand a chance to capture it. Legendary Pokemon can help you out in taking on the toughest battles, however you can’t leave them to defend Gyms.

Well, the first appearance of Legendary Pokemon comes with a condition. Trainers around the world will need to catch a certain number (we don’t know how much yet) of Pokemon during the Pokemon GO Fest Challenge Windows (which is on tomorrow!) to unlock the first Legendary Pokemon in Grant Park. Only after defeating the first Legendary Pokemon, they will start to appear globally for trainers around the world to challenge.
