Grimoire NieR, a book that includes a collection of short stories and illustrations of the NieR universe, will be getting a revised edition.

This revised edition will be updated to include additional insight into NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the enhanced version of NieR, released back in 2010. It will release on July 9, 2021.

While the original book featured Kainé on its front cover, the revised edition will have Emil on the front cover. Check out how it looks below:

In addition, the revised edition will increase the size of the book from B5 to A4. The increased size will be able to better accommodate the concept art and illustrations in the book. Furthermore, the book will have a total of 272 pages, which is a fair amount of content.

Unfortunately, the revised edition will only be available in Japanese. Just like the original book, it seems unlikely there will be an English version. Thankfully, a fan translation of the original Grimoire NieR exists, and you can read it here.
