Frostpunk developer teases chilly new game

11 bit studios, the developer behind Frostpunk and This War of Mine, has teased a new game that looks like it will be connected to Frostpunk.

The Polish studios uploaded a video to their YouTube channel with a vague title, “A Tease Of Things To Come…” The description also shares this same vague feeling.

The wasteland covered by snow’s quilt seems quiet, calm, asleep as if the wind was its lullaby. Yet, the crimson scars mark the battleground for precious things worth breaking up alliances over.

While the bloody man and the oil barrel are not much of an indicator, the ongoing blizzard does hint at the possibility of the new game taking place in the Frostpunk universe. While it is possible for it to be a sequel, 11 bit studios did previously expressed interest in creating a Frostpunk RPG. Nevertheless, it is unlikely that the upcoming game will be Frostpunk mobile, as it was already announced a month ago.

Regardless, it appears that fans and interested gamers alike will have to wait for August 12, as “the truth will be revealed” according to 11 bit studios. While the teaser may seem vague, fans should expect another title that will challenge their morality.
