Bio Points in Biomutant let players improve their resistance and learn Biogenetic Mutations—this guide will teach you how to get them easily.
While players can earn Bio Points from opening Bioblob containers, the faster way of getting them is by killing Morks. Players first encounter Morks when they travel in the Gutway (subway). Morks always pop out through a growth on a wall which looks like this:
Morks and their larger mini-boss variant, Mega Mork, drop Bio Points when defeated. Killing one Mork will provide 1 Bio Point each, while a Mega Mork gives 3. Since Morks tend to appear in groups, players can get 3 or so Bio Points per encounter.
Where to find Morks
While players can find them in the Gutway, they show up a lot more commonly in biohazard zones, areas of the map filled with green fog. They are the main enemy in these areas—players can easily encounter parties of Morks, with each zone having 15 – 20 or so of them. Thus, know that if you see a biohazard zone in Biomutant, it will guide you to lots of Bio Points!
There is just one problem—biohazard, as the name implies—is hazardous. Staying in a biohazard zone will cause a counter to appear at the top right of the screen. If it reaches 100%, the player will start losing health and prolonged exposure will result in death.
Thankfully, players can slow or even stop the counter by having enough biohazard resistance. While players can gain resistance by spending Bio Points, the better way of earning resistance is through equipping armor that provides biohazard resistance.
With that said, meet the armor set with the highest biohazard resistance in the game.
Introducing the Biohazard Suit
The Biohazard Suit gives players complete resistance to biohazard, allowing players to stay as long as they want in the dangerous zone. Luckily, the suit can be obtained very early in the game!
To get the suit, players will need to start the Biohazard Pingdish quest, which is unlocked the moment players step into any biohazard area. The earliest accessible biohazard area is Bio Nucleus 6D, which you can find here on the map:
If the huge nuclear power plant-looking is not a clear enough indicator, then you may refer to the coordinates at the bottom right of the image. Once you come into contact with the biohazard area for the first time, you will get a popup for the Biohazard Pingdish quest.
There, players will be greeted with a few armored enemies that are immune to most ranged weapons. Just after them is a puzzle. Once you complete the puzzle, you will need to aim the Pingdish (satellite dish) at the direction with the most pings. It will then guide you to the location of the Biohazard Suit, and in turn, easy access to the many Bio Points to come in Biomutant.
The quest will lead you to Bangshelter 6D. The suit and a piece of superb loot will be waiting for you once you take the elevator down. Grab the suit, and you are good to go!
Farming Bio Points
On top of the BioBlob containers, biohazard areas like Bio Nucleus 6D will easily get you 20 or so Bio Points per visit. There are more biohazard zones scattered throughout the map, but be sure to thoroughly explore Bio Nucleus 6D first as it is one of the easier locations with lower-leveled enemies.
While the Biohazard Suit is great for exploring these zones, do note that in later areas, its defensive properties will no longer cut it. In Hard mode especially, with enemies taking huge chunks of your life with each hit, you may want to consider investing in other equipment pieces that have respectable amounts of biohazard resistance and armor values.
Regardless, if you are ever in need of more Bio Points, simply travel back to Bio Nucleus 6D or other biohazard zones. The enemies will respawn after several in-game weeks, so if you have made some progress since you last visited the zone, feel free to check the area out once in a while.
