AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound and Debriefed Asian version also has a 10th Anniversary Edition just like the North American version. However, the price and the contents for the Asian version’s 10th Anniversary Edition is different. Check out what’s new in the PS4 and Switch 10th Anniversary Editions for Asia.
The 10th Anniversary Edition of AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound and Debriefed Asian version has an additional guide book. The reprint of AKIBA’S TRIP Official Complete Guide is noticeably missing from the North American version of the 10th Anniversary Edition.
While this does sound better for Asian fans, note that the price is also higher when compared. While the North American version will cost $49.99 USD, the Asian version of the 10th Anniversary Edition costs $69.99 USD.
If the 10th Anniversary Edition does not sound so sweet to you, then you can consider getting just the disc version of the game. AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound and Debriefed Asian version (Disc version) costs $39.99 USD. Interestingly enough, $39.99 USD is also the same price of the standalone digital base game in North America.
For those who are confused about the Asian and North American versions, the former is published by Clouded Leopard Entertainment while the latter is published by XSEED Games. The Asian version will release alongside the Japanese version on 20th May 2021.
