Detention and Devotion are on sale in Red Candle e-shop

Red Candle Games’ critically acclaimed horror titles, Detention and Devotion, are available on the Taiwanese developer’s online store.

Red Candle Games announced on their Facebook page that the Red Candle e-shop has been set up. Both titles, as well as future projects from the developer, will be purchasable on the e-shop. Currently, the e-shop only supports PC versions of Red Candle Games’ titles.

The developer also stated that all contents purchased on the Red Candle e-shop are DRM-free. Upon purchase, players will not require an internet connection or account verification to play the games.

On the e-shop, there are not many games to purchase at the time being. According to the developer, more content will be added to the online store in the future. Currently, a bundle for both Devotion and Detention, bundles for each title with their respective OSTs are on sale. The individual titles and their OSTs can also be purchased separately.

Amongst the two games, Devotion was marred with controversy. A Winnie The Pooh reference to Xi Jinping of the Chinese Communist Party resulted in the game getting review bombed and ultimately removed from Steam. Now that Red Candle Games has its own online store, players worldwide can experience the horror game without restriction.
