A new game for Re:Zero has opened pre-registrations via the DMM Games platform, presumably its short title being Re:Zero Kinsho. You can check out the promotional video below:

For Japanese residents, they can stand a change to win a variety of goods including signed shikishi, anime blu-ray, art book, figures, Rem dakimakura and Rem lantern. That’s not even all the goods that they’ve showed image previews of, so this is definitely something really big just going by the prizes alone. Those who join in the pre-registrations for Re:Zero Kinsho can do the gacha, both to obtain one of the goods up for grabs, as well as a game unit. From the official website preview, we can expect a 5-star to probably be the highest rarity character.

There will be special programming and character PVs to be released at a later date, presumably as we get closer to the actual launch date. For the time being, we can assume it’ll be a browser title, so we’ll have to see if they’ll eventually also release a phone version of it. Some of the items you can get include skip tickets, dungeon keys and presumably growth materials.

The systems look pretty standard, from original scenario, character bonds, original illustrations, and side-scrolling auto battle. In any case, keep an eye out for it.
