After a rather brief run, Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will be shuttering its services come 12 April 2021 in the west and 10 May 2021 in Japan. The news come by way of an official announcement via the game’s official Twitter account.

For the uninitiated, this is a match-three puzzler that first came out in 2019 in Japan and 2020 globally. The full service closure announcement as follows:

First of all, we would like to apologize first about suddenly delivering sad news.

Our team wished to provide positive experience for our players for a longer period of time, but after difficult discussions, we have decided we can no longer provide consistent updates and maintain Toro and Friends: Onsen Town.
We have decided to terminate service on April 20th (Mon), 2021. We are sorry to tell you such bad news of game closing service all of a sudden.

After February 1st (wed). 2021 maintenance

– All in-game purchases will become unavailable

– Toro and Friends: Onsen town will no longer be available for download.

After April 2021 maintenance

– Toro and Friends: Onsen town game service will be permanently unavailable

– Official Facebook page for Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will begin its process to shut down. (Expected closure May 2021)

As of April 2021. you will no longer be available to use our official page of Toro and Friends: Onsen Town.
