Italian shipgirls set sail for Azur Lane global servers, becoming the focus of the returning event, Empyreal Tragicomedy.

This event will take place after the six-hour maintenance later today. The event will run until 3rd February 2021.

As this is a rerun, this is a golden opportunity for players who missed out on the exclusive ships during the previous iteration of Empyreal Tragicomedy. Even if you recruited all the limited-time shipgirls last September, there is even more content this time around.

The two fresh faces that join the event construction pool are Super Rare Heavy Cruiser, Pola, and Elite Destroyer, Vincenzo Gioberti.

They enjoy a rate up in the event banner, together with returning event ships Formidable, Zara, Littorio and Giulio Cesare. Amongst them, Littorio is also recruitable by exchanging points earned from clearing event maps. Carabiniere and Conte di Cavour are also obtainable once you have enough points while Trento is a reward from the event maps.

Besides the event-exclusive characters, players should expect to see event furniture and other quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, Pola and Vincenzo Gioberti do not have new skins.

However, the Hornet Pizza Hut skin which didn’t make it during the Pizza Hut event is finally here!

Despite being a bit late, I guess someone in Yostar probably thought that adding the pizza-themed skin to the Italian-based event is a nice save.
