The sky is no longer the limit in Jetpack Joyride, as players can now experience the game flying and piloting Star Trek-themed equipment.

Currently, the Star Trek crossover event is live until 3rd February 2021. You can catch a glimpse of the visual and gameplay changes that take place in the event by watching this:

As you can tell from the video, the Star Trek event adds a cool spin to things. Locations from Star Trek appear as backgrounds during the run. Note that this only applies to the second sector onwards. The first sector is still the same, similar to the Metal Slug collaboration event which we also covered. In addition, Scientists don their own space uniforms and missiles turned into red laser beams.

The goal of this event is to collect Starfleet insignia tokens. Players can unlock up to 10 limited-time Star Trek rewards. Furthermore, collecting 7155 tokens and obtaining all 10 rewards provides a discount for players who decide to purchase the Star Trek Ultimate Pack from the in-game shop.

Besides that, players have a plethora of new tools at their disposal. Three new Jetpacks and five new vehicle upgrades help to keep gameplay fresh during the event. There are also many new costumes for players to put on. Dress up as Captain Kirk, Spock, and many other iconic characters from the Star Trek franchise as you set out on your Jetpack Joyride!
