Final Gear kicks off its Evangelion collaboration event

Bilibili‘s Final Gear Heavy Armor Princess mobile game is kicking off its Evangelion collaboration event today. This collaboration will be running from 22 December to 19 January 2021. Collaboration limited pilots will be obtainable in the game, the whole line-up being:

• Shinji Ikari

• Rei Ayanami

• Asuka Langley Shikinami

• Kaworu Nagisa

• Mari Illustrious Makinami

All the Evangelion units in Final Gear Heavy Armor Princess are all SSR rarities. Going by the collaboration special portal, Kaworu and Mari will only be available from 5 January onwards in the second half of the event. The website is pretty scarce on the details, so if you’re interested, you’d want to hop into the game to check out how you can obtain these characters and of course, play through the event.

For the unfamiliar, Final Gear features a real time combat system wherein you utilize your mech’s various skills and weapons, along with their pilots, in battle. The mechs all have customizable parts with their own stat spreads, so you can make highly specialized units besides taking into consideration your team composition. It comes with a bond system, where you can improve relationships with your favourite units. A dorm system is also available for you to decorate to your liking.
