At today’s Acer Press Event, Predator announced the Orion 3000, the latest in their line of gaming desktop towers. Additionally they announced two Type-C monitors for high gaming performance as well.

Orion 3000

The Orion 3000 is a powerful gaming desktop packed into a medium size tower, and comes equipped with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. It also uses the Predator Frostblade fans for cooling, and even comes with RGB lighting on the case.

There’s also a second model, which comes with an i5 Procesor and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER instead.

The i7 model will retail for RM6799, while the i5 model will go for RM4099.

Of course, there’s no point having a high performance desktop without having a monitor to actually see the games on. To that end, Acer announced two new monitors, using the type-C cables.

Predator XB273U GX

The first of these is the Predator XB273U GX, which features a 27-inch display and supports up to 270hz meaning you can play games at their maximum framerates with minimum worries.

It’s also certified to be compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, making sure your gameplay is as blur-free as possible so you’ll be able to handle whatever the game throws at you.
