In other games similar to this, you go down the next level via a staircase or ladder, but not in Plunge, you don’t. This roguelike puzzle game leans more towards the aggressive side, forcing you to leap down the floor by floor in claustrophobic fashion.
Upon landing on each floor, you will have to move turn-by-turn throughout the surreal world that makes up Plunge, while having to evading traps and attacks. The game’s enemies will confront you with an assortment of weapons, so you will have to plan out how you face each encounter. Helping you along the way are useful abilities to push enemies away and finding better health pick-ups at later levels.
No release date yet for Plunge, as it is still being developed for Android, iOS and Steam.
