Battle Bay Guide: How to farm pearls and use your resources effectively

Battle Bay is launched for a couple of days, and this is our Battle Bay guide on farming Pearls and managing resources. There are 4 in-game currencies in total –  Pearls, Gold, Sugar and Battle Stars.

Pearls

Pearls are the premium resources as you can use them to buy chest or other resources (gold and sugar) and shorten upgrade times. You can acquire Pearls by paying cash but of course, there are ways to get Pearls for free. That’s why we are writing this!

Login Daily

Daily login reward differs everyday, and on certain days you will get quite an amount of Pearls. The key here is consistency.

Completing Battles and Watch Ad Bonus Video

After every thrilling battle, there will be an option for you to choose whether you want to watch an ad video for bonus rewards. This will add 50% gold, sugar and Pearls (probably 1 or 2) to your final reward.

Completing Achievements

Just like most of the mobile game, there is a list of achievement in Battle Bay too. Completing these achievements will mostly award you with Pearls and sometimes with chests or other resources. Bear in mind that you can only claim the reward once for every achievement.

Obtain from Care Packages

You can find a “Gift from Dad” care package from the market. By opening it, you will either get gold, sugar, Pearl or all of them at once (if you are lucky). Good thing is the marketplace refreshes every 2 hours (which means a free care package every 2 hours) and you can refresh for free once every market cycle by watching ads.

Gold

Gold can be earned from battle rewards, quests or care packages, which is used to buy items and ships. Spend them because there is a cap limit on the amount of gold you can save. You can increase the limit by levelling up your captain.

Sugar

Sugar is an “upgrading resources” for crew members and items. You will get them the same way as how you get golds, and it has a cap limit on savable amount too. Spend only minimal resources on those low rarity items, spend more on the better rarity items. Training crew members are vital as this is the only way to gain experience. You should spend more sugar in training your better ship crew member.

Battle Stars

The only use of Battle Stars is to buy Star Crates from the shop and there is no other way to get them except winning battles.
