War of Crown was just recently released by Gamevil and has been generating close to 1,ooo,ooo downloads since it was first launched last week on the 3rd of May. The game boasts its traditional turn-based tactical RPG like the old days like Final Fantasy Tactics. However, instead of the pixel art graphics the genre has been modernized with 3D graphics which gave birth to War of Crown.

The mobile gaming market has been expanding in the recent years and Gamevil has taken this opportunity to develop War of Crown to bring back the good old tactical mobile genre. Unlike many of the current tactical games which require mostly gacha heroes and the composition of teams, War of Crown requires players to move their characters, place them strategically and decide their actions to win battles.

Just like Final Fantasy Tactics, Gamevil has also not made it an easy game where you can win just by steam-rolling enemies with specific characters. While the game has a pretty tough benchmark to hit with games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem Heroes, War of Crown is in its own league with its fresh new storyline, a fully built and advanced leveling mechanism, new characters and equipment system. The story line puts players in a war that allows players to explore the combat system and character building in the story. While combining both a challenging with high customization for the mobile, it aims to satisfy players who loves a challenge and lore depth.
