SEGA Astro City Mini will be released 17 December

Sega Toys will be launching the Astro City Mini and Astro City Mini Amusement Center Style Kit on 17 December, along with the reveal of an additional 13 game titles for the little cabinet. The Astro City Mini is a 1/6 scale of the original, released as part of the Sega group’s 60th anniversary project.

The Astro City Mini will have 36 game titles in total, including “Shadow Dancer”, which will be on a video game console for the first time. To relive the experience of the amusement centers of the 90s, you can replicate that on a smaller scale with the Astro City Mini Amusement Center Style Kit, simply by placing the Astro City on the base and slide it in place. The design is subject to change.

The 13 game titles revealed for the second series are:

• COTTON
  • Year: 1991
  • Genre: Shooting, 1 player
  • The wizard called Nata de Cotton plays an active role to save fairy world.

• SHINOBI
  • Year: 1987
  • Genre: Action, Max 2 players
  • Popular in the US, this is a horizontal scrolling ninja action game featuring “today’s” ninja, Joe Musashi, against the crime syndicate “ZEED”

• SHADOW DANCER
  • Year: 1989
  • Genre: Action, 1 player
  • Sequel to SHINOBI, march into the enemy’s HQ and save the trapped children!

• ESWAT (CYBER POLICE E-SWAT)
  • Year: 1989
  • Genre: Action, Max 2 players
  • A horizontal scrolling action game. Play as a member of the Armed Riot Police “ESWAT” with a special pecial armed costume called “ICE” to defeat crime.

• CRACK DOWN
  • Year: 1989

  • A stealth action game, play as saboteurs Ben and Andy as they enter a city occupied by enemy armed forces. Destroy them with your timed bombs!

  • Stack gems of the same colour vertically, horizontally or diagonally to clear them

• BONANZA

  • Help the Bonanza Brothers get all the treasure in Bad Town and get out in this horizontal scrolling action game

• ICHIDANTO-R
  • Year: 1994

  • The second version of “Tanto-Aru” comes with more mini games!

• WONDER BOY
  • Year: 1986

  • “Boy” the hero will use his axe and ride his skateboard to save his girlfriend Tina
