Kemco has just announced that it will be launching Senri no Kifu: Gendai Shougi Mystery for the Android and iOS platforms on 5 August 2020.

The shogi mystery adventure game first came out for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Switch on 27 February 2020.

A mystery and shogi battle game set in the modern world of shogi and featuring seven popular real-life shogi players. The scenario is written by Hidehisa Miyashita (Folklore) and the music is composed by Noriyuki Iwadare (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations, Dual Destinies, and Spirit of Justice). Senri no Kifu: Gendai Shougi Mystery is an overhaul of the original smartphone game, which was known for its deep drama and design as a game that can be enjoyed regardless of shogi ability, now appearing on consoles as a complete edition with lengthy new scenarios, a shogi classroom, and more.
