The MSW / Marvel Super War Facebook page announces the Tournament of Bast, a weekly tournament for the Philippines. The announcement reads as follows:
The Tournament of Bast brings even greater glory with a bigger tournament, bigger prize pool, and more teams!
After an overwhelming response from the last tournament, we created the Tournament of Bast! This time, we’re opening registration up to 32 teams! Each team can consist of up to 7 members. (2 additional members for substitution).
We have 4 weekly qualifiers with a total prize pool of PHP 60,000 and competition points in each tournament. The great thing about this tournament is that teams may join multiple times in all 4 qualifiers. The top 8 teams with the highest combined scores from 4 tournaments will compete in the Playoffs. Join us to learn more about the upcoming games!
The timeline will be as such:
- First tournament: 11 – 12 July
- Registration: 30 June to 6 July
- Second tournament: 25 – 26 July
- Registration: 14 July to 20 July
- Third tournament: 8 – 9 August
- Registration: 28 July to 3 August
- Fourth tournament: 22 – 23 August
- Registration: 11 August to 17 August
The same team will be able to register for multiple tournaments, with the top 8 making it to the finals after the four weeks. Each weekly tournament will have a prize pool of ₱15,000, with the grand finals having a ₱150,000 prize pool. First place for weekly will walk away with ₱8,000, while grand finals champion gets ₱75,000.
For MSW players to participate in the Tournament of Bast, they just need a team of 5 players with up to 2 substitutes (not compulsory).
