A new mobile game RPG, Manasis Refrain, has been announced by Webzen Japan and INUTAN. The game, to be available for smartphones, recently launched its official Twitter account and website. The game is preparing to launch service, with no set release timeframe. Webzen is known for MU Origin 2, which launched in the SEA region last year.

Presently, the website has previews for the characters you will be meeting in Manasis Refrain. The voice cast has yet to be revealed either, but there are some clips showing them in action. Here’s one for Mildred Mildi:

There will also be at least three other characters in the cast, besides the player as the main character. It would appear that you will be entering an academy having received an invitation/recommendation, and there, will be meeting the other characters. Of course, you’re not going to have an ordinary school life, throwing in the resurrection of a Demon King…

Would you want this to be some open world RPG, or even an MMORPG? There’s also no exact details on its monetization nature, but we might be able to assume it’d be free to play with the regular in-app purchases.
