A double whammy week, one could say, for Black Desert SEA as it sees a Succession update, as well as Christmas events!

This Succession update is for Valkyries and Tamers with a new levelling option open to Adventurers playing them. Further level up your Valkyrie and Tamer by acquiring “Vow” and “Power of the Beast” to learn Succession skills for your respective classes. Succession gives classes powerful new skills by strengthening their main weapons. Adventurers can unlock these skills at level 56 after completing a series of Black Spirit quests. A special reward event will run to 1 January to commemorate this update. Reaching levels between 56 and 60 will include rewards such as 3 Extra Combat EXP Scrolls and 5 Gold Bars 100g, depending on the level they reach.

Adventures can begin the “You Better Watch Out, You Better Not Cry!” quest until 17 December! Talk to NPCs in major cities that include Velia, Heidel, Calpheon, and Valencia to start. Go on to complete the “Grandpa Cron Knows It All!” quest, and hang Cron Tree Decorations on the Cron Tree. As more Adventurers decorate the Christmas tree, a star ornament will appear on the top as a sign of completion.

Complete the two quests to get Grandpa Cron’s Gift that contain various exclusive items such as Kzarka’s Sealed Weapon Boxes, and Liverto Weapon Bundles. Adventurers can also complete a special quest where they can build a Snowman and get Lara’s Hot Black Tea by successfully targeting the Snowman NPC using a Snowball Cannon.

Last but not least, a special guild event is taking place in Black Desert SEA. Complete guild quests by 24 December to acquire Afuaru’s Maps by destroying Afuaru’s Treasure Chests. These maps are used to receive rewards such as Urugon’s Shoes and Dandelion Weapon Boxes. Participate in the dice rolling event to get Black Crystals of Concentrated Magical Power and Black Spirit’s Claw Pieces for rolling the dice in Black Spirit’s Adventure.
