Rune Factory 4 Special Archival Edition Announced for Switch!

Marvelous Entertainment has just announced a new Limited Edition for their upcoming game, Rune Factory 4 Special, a remastered version from the Nintendo 3DS. So, If you have never played the franchise before, here’s a small brief for you to know what is the game about.

• You play as a character who gets amnesia
• You will have to gain trust from the villagers and recruit them in order to get help from them
• Crafting, farming, dungeon exploration and marriage are available

Today, Marvelous Entertainment showed us their Limited Edition for “Rune Factory 4 Special” called, “Rune Factory 4 Special Archival Edition”.

This edition of the release will include the products listed below:

• Physical copy of the game for Nintendo Switch
• A 160-page A5 sized art book consists of Minako Iwasaki with an original cover illustration
• Official soundtrack CD with 33 tracks from the original release, with additional 3 new tracks
• ‘Swimsuit Day’ DLC that allows the character to be dressed in their swimsuits
• Premium custom box art illustrated by Minako Iwasaki

The game will be remastered in HD. This remastered version of the game will include a brand new “Newlywed Mode”. This mode lets you experience adventures with your spouse and new cut-scene(s). If you are an experienced player, there is also a HELL DIFFICULTY MODE to let players to challenge themselves. Furthermore, there will be additional cut-scenes added to the game as well!

As for now, the Archival Edition can only been confirmed in North America and Europe through Marvelous Games Store. The standard version will be available at $39.99 and the Archival Edition at $59.99.
