Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta for PS4, Xbox One

The wait is almost over for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne! It’ll be fully out 6 September, but Capcom’s released a new beta for you to have a taste first! Velkhana, the legendary dragon, will be available for you to hunt. Three other hunts, from novice to expert difficulty, will also be available!

Xbox One and Playstation 4 players will have different beta dates, so take note. The PS4 beta will be from 30 August 12AM PST to 1 September 11:59PM PST. Xbox One’s beta will begin immediately after, at 2 September 12AM PST to 5 September 11:59PM PST.

Completing the Iceborne beta will earn players a commendation pack on full release. However, you do need either a Playstation Plus or Xbox Live subscription to participate in the beta. PC players will have to wait a little longer for the expansion to hit Steam.

Iceborne Expansion for Monster Hunter World is a fully-fledged paid expansion coming in September 6th 2019. The expansion is equivalent in size to previous Monster Hunter games "G Rank" or "Ultimate" entries, and promises to bring a significant amount of content.
