As we have reported earlier, Nintendo has announced a mobile spinoff of its Fire Emblem series known as Fire Emblem Heroes. The game will be launched as a free-to-play title on 2 February 2017 on Google Play, followed by a release on both iPhone and iPad, although no date is specified. Pre-registration for the Android version is opened.
In case you are wondering, the game will play pretty much exactly the way it has on the handhelds, where you assume the role of commander to go to war with the help of famous heroes from all walks of the Fire Emblem lineup. Main quest aside, there will be a training mode where you improve your heroes further. Be sure also to vote for your favourite hero, as he or she will be featured in a special event.
