After a long wait, Nintendo has finally gave us the exciting reveal we wanted during their latest Nintendo Direct! The 8th generation Pokémon games – Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield have been announced, and they are releasing worldwide for Nintendo Switch in late 2019!

The new Pokémon games are set in the huge Galar Region with various environments such as idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and snow-covered mountains.

Here are the 3 starter Pokémon for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield:

• Grookey (Grass Type) – A mischievous Chimp Pokémon that is full of boundless curiosity.
• Scorbunny (Fire Type) – A Rabbit Pokémon that is always running about, bursting with energy.
• Sobble (Water Type) – A somewhat timid Water Lizard Pokémon that shoots out attacks as it hides in the water.
