After launching as Steam Early Access earlier this year, Atomicom’s JCB Pioneer: Mars will be heading to Nintendo Switch as well! The Mars-based survival sandbox game will be out on December 24 in EU and AUS for $24.99 (about RM104), while NA fans will be able to enjoy the game from January 3.

For those who are new to JCB Pioneer: Mars, it is a hardcore blend of survival and construction gameplay that drops you onto the surface of The Red Planet. Your goal is to survive and prepare Mars for future human colonization. Of course, there will be difficult environments such as Meteor strikes, dust clouds and electric storms to challenge your survival skills.

You can traverse the planet using highly futuristic heavy-duty construction and mining vehicles designed by actual JCB engineers. Also, you will need to mine precious materials, construct large-scale buildings and research new technologies to ensure humanity’s future lies beyond planet Earth.
