Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division will reveal their new RPG game during The Game Awards 2018. This comes after Geoff Keighley, the show’s creator tweeted about new game announcements for the show yesterday.

As a follow up to his earlier tweet, Keighley posted another tweet featuring the new game announcement. Private Division had mentioned last year that they will be publishing a new RPG by Obsidian Entertainment. Led by the co-creators of Fallout, Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, expectations were high on the upcoming RPG.

In addition to Keighley’s tweet, Obsidian Entertainment is also preparing for the reveal on their main site. Recently, the company has included a tease on their website. The tease states that there will be a special announcement as well as a countdown to The Game Awards 2018.

Speculations are abound on what platform would the upcoming RPG be on. Private Division announced the unnamed RPG before Obsidian Entertainment was acquired by Microsoft earlier this month. Due to this, we believe that the game will launch on multiple platforms. However, anything can happen as the announcement is yet to happen.

As mentioned by Geoff Keighley, teases of new games are coming in the next few days. Obsidian Entertainment’s new game seems to be the first of many teases that are expected to arrive. For now, all we can do is wait.
