Final Fantasy Awakening which was previously known as Final Fantasy Type-0 Online is now in the Open Beta phase for the iOS and Android. The MMORPG comprises of characters and settings from Final Fantasy Type-0. Back in September 2015, the game was first announced back in September 2015 by Square Enix. Then recently in ChinaJoy 2016 Shanghai, a playable demo was displayed there.

Final Fantasy Awakening developed by Perfect World consists of battles with little action elements and lobby areas for multiplayer mode. The game has a sense of Final Fantasy-like style with different characters and gender to choose from. The on-screen buttons and interfaces are also smooth and typical like any RPG games on mobile. 

The developers planned to release the game in China by the end of this year and all Asian countries except Japan as Perfect World does not have the publishing rights to the game in Japan and other territories. Now that the game is in it’s OBT phase, players will be able to try the game out and maybe share some thoughts about the game.
