Follow JC Go is a Pokemon GO clone with Catholic Saints

Some of you might think we are kidding but this is not an April Fool – there is a Pokemon GO clone where you capture saints or Biblical figures and it is even supported by the Vatican! Titled Follow JC Go, the game is currently available in Spanish for both Android and iOS, while more language including English will be available soon.

Just like Pokemon GO, the game will get you outside looking for Catholic Saints instead of Pokemon. You will need to answer some religious quiz when you encounter a saint and if you answer it correctly, the saint will join your eTeam. You will also need to collect food, water and “spirituality” to survive in the game.

Moreover, the game will ask you to pray at a nearby church (a twist on Pokestops), while the in-app purchases come in a form of charity donation.

Follow JC Go is actually made for World Youth Day in Panama early next year, but since the game is already out and will be available in English soon, you can try it out if you are a Catholic person. What do you think about the game? Tell us in the comment section below!
