Gal Metal is a free-form rhythm game by DMM Games. The game will be published by Marvelous on the Nintendo Switch this coming November 2nd. It will be launched across Europe along with a DLC pack and a physical retail edition packed with tons of extras! As seen in the trailer, Gal Metal is a rhythm game designed for Nintendo Switch that turns the Joy-Cons into drum sticks. Players take hold of the Joy-Cons and rock along with the music in order to repel would-be alien conquerors. This is accomplished by creating complex musical performances and racking up millions of points using personal free-form drumlines based on over a dozen different beats. With Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support on offer as well, players can choose how they want to jam and earn metal power to use against these nefarious invaders in this uniquely adlib-friendly rhythm spectacular.
If you think you’ll love the game and want more out of it, you can also get the ‘Encore Pack’ DLC which adds 5 new characters to the game with their own unique story episode and song. There’s also the Gal Metal: World Tour Edition that will be released on the same day of release, but only in selected retail stores. The Gal Metal: World Tour Edition contains the base game, Encore Pack DLC and exclusive set of Heavy Metal stickers! You can use those stickers to customize your Switch or Joy-Cons!
