Level-5 just released the official mobile version of their hit slow-life RPG, Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Life. The developers have confirmed that cross-progression between mobile and other platforms is supported so players can continue building their worlds anywhere and anytime.
Fantasy Life i is compatible with Android 10 and iOS 15 and up devices, and the devs are assuring players that it’s the same game playable on other platforms and not a watered-down port. It also supports cross-play, allowing smartphone users to embark on adventures with Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC players. Originally released on consoles and PC in 2025, Fantasy Life i masterfully combines RPG and life-simulation game, offering open-world exploration, combat, crafting, gathering, and character progression.

Fantasy Life i takes place on Mysteria Island, and one of the game’s main selling points is that players can take on different ‘lives’ as they inhabit it. These lives range from combat-focused roles like Paladin and Hunter to gathering and crafting jobs such as Miner and Blacksmith. Aside from being a relaxing ‘slow’ life RPG, the game also has a gripping narrative involving a mysterious girl, a dragon, and time travel.

With the RPG/life-sim’s arrival on mobile, it doesn’t just allow for seamless cross-progression for returning players, but it also welcomes a whole new audience. Not to mention that it also comes with an overhauled and customizable control scheme that’s naturally intuitive for smaller devices.
