Apple Arcade has just announced that its catalogue is getting an upgrade on September 3, with standout titles Block Blast!+ and Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles leading the charge.

Block Blast! has garnered millions of downloads since its viral surge in 2024, with its simple yet addicting Tetris-like gameplay and colourful visuals.

It offers a simple challenge of slotting blocks to try and achieve perfect combos, but one wrong move could spell defeat. With Block Blast!+’s addition to Apple Arcade, players can now enjoy the loop completely uninterrupted by ads.

Meanwhile, Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles features a soothing puzzle experience mixed with interesting trivia. Its puzzles are stunning fauna illustrations from the 18th and 19th centuries, made by real-life artists like Joseph Wolf and John Gould.

Art of Fauna: Cozy puzzles offer both challenge and relaxation, and its accessibility features have earned it an Apple Design Award in 2025 for inclusivity.

September 3 also marks the arrival of NFL Retro Bowl ‘27, a pixel art American football game from New Star Games that introduces an all-new Gauntlet Mode, where players would have to survive a 15-game streak using limited starting resources.

Apple Arcade’s expansion is also set to liven up the living room with Coloring Games for Families+ and Let’s Play! Oink Games+, which features nine fun tabletop games that can be played solo, with friends, or online.

The five titles dropping on September 3 add to the already entertaining selection of mobile games offered in Apple Arcade. From casual block puzzles to sports simulation and multiplayer tabletop experiences, the latest additions offer something for different types of players.
