PATLABOR the Case Files lands on PS5 and PC through Steam and Epic Games on September 17, marking its return to the gaming scene after more than 20 years.
Publisher Good Smile Company and developer Chime Corporation also announced that the game will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options, with physical copies being exclusive to Japan.
The latest gameplay clips revealed the iconic Labors in action, including Ingram, Griffon, and Type Zero. Players can also take control of either the Special Vehicles Section 2 or the opposing side through its variety of main and side missions.

Developers have also introduced a ‘Simulator Mode,’ which allows players to target practice and engage in epic robot wars through Labor vs Labor battles, choosing between 20+ playable characters
PATLABOR the Case Files was also supervised by some of the original creators involved in the franchise. For instance, Kenji Kawai returns to the series as the composer of the main theme, ‘the Case Files.’
Pre-orders are now available on the PlayStation Store in both standard and deluxe editions, with the latter coming with a physical copy and the official soundtrack featuring 30 songs. Also, players who opt for the digital deluxe edition can get 72-hour early access, starting September 14.
