2K and Hangar 13 have released the first gameplay footage for Man of Honor, the upcoming expansion for Mafia: The Old Country. The expansion launches next week on August 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The announcement came with a new gameplay trailer along with additional details shared in a blog post from Hangar 13 Design Director Josh Zammit.
Man of Honor adds two new story chapters set during the early days of Enzo Favara’s time working for the Torrisi crime family. In these chapters, Enzo teams up with Ennio Salieri, a mafioso fans of the series will recognize as the Don from the original Mafia game. This expansion gives players a look at a younger version of Salieri, before his move to America and eventual rise to power there.
Alongside the new story content, Man of Honor also brings additions to Free Ride mode. Players will be able to take on Challenges and Jobs handed out by Salieri, including races, combat missions, and stealth-based encounters. These Challenges are said to be more difficult than what’s currently available and will include mission types that haven’t been seen in the game before.
Completing this new content will let players unlock rewards such as outfits, vehicles, and horses, as well as new weapons and Charms. With the Man of Honor expansion set to release in just a week, players won’t have long to wait to jump into these new chapters and Free Ride additions for Mafia: The Old Country.
