Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced that Attack on Titan 3 will launch on December 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC through Steam. Pre-orders are open now for most platforms, though Switch 2 pre-orders will become available at a later date.
The game will come in three editions. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 (£54.99 / €69.99 / ¥9,680). There is also a SteelBook Launch Edition, which includes a copy of the game, a SteelBook case, a reversible ICONART print, and two bonus in-game customization items, a Wings of Freedom Choker and Wings of Freedom Gloves. The Digital Deluxe Edition costs $89.99 (£69.99 / €89.99 / ¥12,980) and includes the game, a digital art book, and several in-game bonus packs covering character costumes, creator parts, equipment, and starter items. Digital Deluxe buyers on platforms other than Switch 2 will also get 72 hours of early access before launch.
Anyone who buys the game early will receive a bonus in-game item called the Wings of Freedom Hoodie, while digital pre-orders come with a separate item, the Wings of Freedom Earrings. Players who have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will also receive a special in-game gift, though Koei Tecmo has not yet shared details on what that gift will be.
According to the publisher, Attack on Titan 3 is meant to bring together the story of the series from start to finish. The game will include new story content and new battles against the Nine Titans, who will appear in a game for the first time. Several key scenes from earlier titles have also been rebuilt for this release. With a release date now confirmed and pre-orders underway, fans of the series will find out this December how the game brings its long-running story to a close.
