Compile Heart has released Villion:Code in Japan, with the game now available digitally and physically across PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. Villion:Code is a new RPG developed by former ATLUS staff, including producer Kouji “Cozy” Okada, writer Tadashi Satomi, and composer Tsukasa Masuko, all now working under Compile Heart.
On the digital side, players can grab it through the Japanese PlayStation Store for both PS5 and PS4, and through the Nintendo Store for Switch 1 and Switch 2. Physical copies are also available for PS5 and both Switch versions. One thing worth noting about the Switch 2 physical edition is that no game key card indicators have been spotted on the packaging so far, suggesting the cartridge contains the full game.

Alongside the launch, Compile Heart has published a streaming guideline specifically for players in Japan. Under these guidelines, content creators are allowed to upload and stream gameplay videos on JASRAC-approved platforms, which include YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Meta’s social media platforms. There is a content limit in place, though, as videos and streams may only cover the game up to the defeat of the GEM Boss in Chapter 3.
Anything beyond that point falls outside what the guidelines currently permit for public sharing. As for players outside of Japan, Idea Factory has not yet made any announcement regarding an English localization for Villion:Code.
