The Kagurabachi anime has officially announced its World Tour, bringing exclusive preview screenings to four major anime conventions across three continents ahead of the series’ full broadcast next year.
Part 1 of the Kagurabachi Anime World Tour kicks off in July 2026 and runs through August, with stops in Los Angeles, Paris, Mannheim, and New York. At each event, attendees will get to watch the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 before the anime officially airs in April 2027. Kagurabachi is based on the manga by Takeru Hokazono, currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. As of May 1, 2026, the manga has surpassed 4 million cumulative copies in circulation.

The anime is being produced by Cypic, an animation studio under the CyberAgent group, previously known for Umamusume: Cinderella Gray and The Summer Hikaru Died. Directing the series is Tetsuya Takeuchi, who served as Action Animation Director on Sword Art Online II and worked on Heavenly Delusion as episode director and animation director. Character design is handled by Keigo Sasaki, whose credits include Blue Exorcist and The Seven Deadly Sins. The protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira is voiced by Taihi Kimura, who won Best New Actor at the 2025 Seiyu Awards.
The tour kicks off at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 3, 2026, from 4:45 to 6:05 PM PDT at the JW Marriott Diamond room inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. This stop also serves as the World Premiere screening. A panel session will follow, featuring voice actor Taihi Kimura, manga editor Takuro Imamura, and anime producer Koichi Yasuda. Next up is Japan Expo in Paris on July 9, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM CEST at the Yuzu Stage in Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. The panel there will include cross-media producer Riki Azuma and anime producer Koichi Yasuda.
The tour then moves to Mannheim, Germany for AnimagiC on August 1, 2026. The screening is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:00 PM CEST at Mozart Hall in Rosengarten Mannheim. No panel session has been announced for this stop. The final leg lands in New York at Anime NYC on August 22, 2026, at the Javits Convention Center’s Main Stage. The exact time for this screening has yet to be announced. Panel sessions at select stops will include discussions on the production process and the creative team’s work behind the series.
