ArenaNet has announced that Guild Wars Reforged will be making its way to mobile devices this summer, launching on both iOS and Android platforms. The mobile version will be free to download and will include the original Prophecies campaign. To keep it free, the game will run ads.

Players who want more out of the experience can pay $6.99 for a standalone add-on per campaign, which removes ads, enables chat and trading, and lets players log into their ArenaNet accounts to sync their characters and progress across devices. The Eye of the North expansion and the Bonus Mission Pack will also be available for $9.99 and $5.99 respectively.

Players who already own Guild Wars Reforged on PC and have an existing ArenaNet account will be able to log in on mobile and carry over their purchases and progress without spending anything extra. One notable feature is that mobile and PC players will share the same servers, meaning the player base will not be split between platforms. Progress will also sync automatically between mobile and PC.

Pre-registration is currently open on the Google Play Store, with the Apple App Store page coming soon. The game will first go through a soft launch in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines before rolling out more widely.
