[GUIDE] Where Winds Meet Hexi — How To Get Mystic Skill: Flute of the Tides Guide

Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet are special abilities that players can unlock through various quests, activities, and story progression. One of these skills is Flute of the Tides, a Mystic Skill tied to a short quest chain involving the Graceful Melody activity.

Before you can obtain this skill, you will first need to progress far enough in the game’s main storyline.

Progress the Hexi Main Story

To begin unlocking the Mystic Skill Flute of the Tides, players must first advance the Hexi main story. Progress through the story until you reach Jianghu Legacy Volume II, where the Wayfarer feature becomes available.

Once Wayfarer is unlocked, you will be able to travel to Peaceward Camp, which is where the quest for this Mystic Skill begins.

Find Monk Unknowing at Peaceward Camp

After arriving at Peaceward Camp, locate Monk Unknowing, who can be found near the teleport landmark in the area. He also serves as the NPC responsible for the Graceful Melody activity.

Speak with Monk Unknowing to interact with the activity.

Perform a Solo Performance

To progress further, you will need to perform a solo performance through the Graceful Melody activity. Your goal here is to achieve a Lingering Echoes rating.

Once you successfully obtain this rating, speak with Monk Unknowing again. Doing so will allow you to receive the quest that leads to the Mystic Skill.

Complete the Performance Quest

After accepting the quest, Monk Unknowing will ask you to perform at two different quest locations.

Open the map and follow the quest markers to reach each location. At both locations, you will need to perform again. These performances are relatively short and straightforward, making the task fairly quick to complete.

Finish both performances to complete the quest objectives.

Return to Monk Unknowing

Once the two performances are done, return to Monk Unknowing at Peaceward Camp. Speak with him to hand in the quest.

After completing the quest, you will receive the Mystic Skill – Flute of the Tides, which can then be used as part of your abilities in Where Winds Meet.
